- milk - 4 c
- flour - 2/3 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- Velveeta cheese - 1 lb
- cans chicken broth - 2 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- hot pepper sauce - 1/2 Tbsp
- white pepper - 1/2 Tbsp
How to make broccoli cheese soup:
Melt butter in large pan. Add chopped onion; cook until tender. Add flour; whisk. Cook 1 minute on low heat, stirring. Add milk and chicken broth; cook on medium heat, stirring until thickened. Add cheese and seasonings, stirring until cheese has melted. Add broccoli; reduce heat and cook until broccoli is tender (about 30 minutes).
