Breakfast pizza
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 5 item
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
- 4 oz - 1 c
- pork sausage - 1 lb
- fresh oregano - 1 item
- whole pimentos - 1 item
- thawed hash brown potatoes - 1 c
How to make breakfast pizza:
Cook sausage in a medium skillet until browned; drain. Set aside. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles. Place triangles with elongated points toward center in a greased 12-inch pizza pan. Press bottom and sides to form a crust; seal perforations. Spoon sausage over dough; sprinkle with hash brown potatoes and Cheddar cheese. Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper; pour over sausage mixture. Bake at 375° for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake 5 more minutes. Garnish with pimento and fresh oregano, if desired.
