Breakfast custard
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
How to make breakfast custard:
Combine eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla and milk. Pour into 6 to 8 custard cups. Place on folded paper towel in frying pan with tight cover. Pour cold water into pan half height of cups. Bring to boil. Remove from heat. Allow to steam until set, about 15 minutes. (Be sure water doesn't drip into custards when you remove the lid!).Recipe categories: Egg, Breakfast, Main dish.
