Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- grated sharp cheese - 1 c
- slices white bread, cubed - 2 item
- pork sausage hot or regular - 1 lb
How to make breakfast casserole:
Saute sausage; drain. Beat eggs and add milk, salt and mustard and mix well. Layer bread cubes in a greased, 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Add crumbled sausage and cheese. Pour egg mixture over top. Bake 45 minutes at 350°. This dish can be made the day before or can be frozen.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
