  • eggs - 6 item
  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • sausage - 1 lb
  • grated sharp cheese - 1 c
  • slices white bread, cubed - 2 item

How to make sausage and egg casserole:

Saute sausage and drain. Beat eggs with milk, salt and mustard. Layer bread cubes, then sausage, then cheese in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Pour egg mixture on top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 6 to 8 people. Great for holiday breakfast.
