Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- slices bread - 6 item
- sausage regular or hot - 1 lb
- ground mustard optional - 1 tsp
How to make breakfast casserole:
Crumble bread in bottom of an 11 x 9-inch greased pan. Fry and drain sausage. Beat eggs, milk, ground mustard, salt and pepper together, then add grated cheese. Pour over bread and sausage. Cover and put in the refrigerator overnight. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
