Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 8 item
- milk
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- slices bread - 8 item
- sausage - 1 lb
How to make breakfast casserole:
Brown sausage; pour off fat. Beat eggs; add cheese, milk, mustard and salt. Break bread into pieces or cut into cubes. Put in 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan with sausage. Pour milk-egg mixture over bread and meat. Refrigerate overnight. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
