Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vinegar - 2 3
- celery seed - 2 Tbsp
- mustard seed - 2 Tbsp
- turmeric - 1 Tbsp
- sliced cucumbers - 1 doz
- onions add if desired - 1 item
How to make bread and butter pickles:
Soak cucumbers in lime water overnight. Rinse well with cold water and drain. Cook in other ingredients, mixed together, for 5 minutes. Seal in jars.Recipe categories: American, Condiments, etc., Vegetables.
