Hush puppies

Ingredients/Components

• cornmeal - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 1/2 c
• baking powder
• egg - 1 item
• finely chopped onion - 5 Tbsp
• milk - 1 item

How to make hush puppies:

Mix dry ingredients together in bowl. Add egg and onion. Add enough milk so mixture will drop easily from spoon. Drop by teaspoonfuls into deep hot oil. Cook until brown, turning once.
