Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- can beets - 1 item
How to make harvard beets:
Use 1/2 of liquid in can. Pour in saucepan. Mix together vinegar, cornstarch, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil; add beets and butter. Heat until hot all the way through.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
