Harvard beets



  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • can beets - 1 item

How to make harvard beets:

Use 1/2 of liquid in can. Pour in saucepan. Mix together vinegar, cornstarch, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil; add beets and butter. Heat until hot all the way through.
