  • salt - 4 tsp
  • vinegar - 3 c
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • large onions, chopped - 4 item
  • turmeric
  • mustard seeds - 2 tsp
  • sliced cucumbers - 4 qt
  • sweet peppers, seeded and chopped - 6 item

How to make bread and butter pickles:

Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer for 30 minutes. Pack in hot sterilized jars and seal.
