Ingredients/Components
- flour
- sugar
- solid shortening - 3/4 c
- milk - 3/4 c
- eggs extra large - 2 item
- double-acting baking soda
- salt - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 tsp
- 16 oz - 1 pt
How to make blueberry muffins:
Preheat oven to 375°. In large mixing bowl, place flour, sugar, shortening, milk, eggs, baking powder, salt, vanilla and water. Blend for 2 minutes on low speed, then 6 minutes on high. Spoon batter into cupcake pans, filling 1/2 full. Add 6 to 10 blueberries per cup, mixing them into batter, leaving some on top. Bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
