Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2/3 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • shortening - 1/4 c
  • sifted flour
  • egg, well beaten - 1 item
  • blueberries - 1 c

How to make blueberry cake:

Mix in usual manner, stirring in blueberries last. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Can sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake at 375° for 40 minutes. Serve with lemon sauce and whipped cream.
