- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- shortening - 1/4 c
- warm water - 1 c
- dry milk - 1/2 c
- cake yeast - 1 item
How to make biscuits:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add other ingredients and knead a little. Roll about 1/4-inch thick. Cut as biscuits; brush both sides with butter. Let rise 1 hour, then bake at 400°.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, High calcium.
