Bell pepper casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- grated cheese
- ground beef
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- Minute rice - 2 c
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- or 3 bell peppers - 2 item
How to make bell pepper casserole:
Brown ground beef and seasonings. Pour off grease. Boil bell peppers in saucepan 2 or 3 minutes. Cool and then slice. In medium casserole dish, butter bottom. Arrange bell pepper slices on bottom. Add on top of sliced bell peppers the Minute rice, onion and ground beef. Then add tomato sauce. Stir a little (but not the peppers). Top with grated cheese and bake until bubbly and hot at 350°.
