Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 4 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 4 Tbsp
- onion salt - 1/2 tsp
- ketchup - 1 Tbsp
- pepper or more if you like it hot - 1/4 tsp
How to make beef jerky:
This recipe is for 1 pound of venison or steak. Preferably I use steak. Marinate meat for 4 or 5 hours; drain in colander. Place on trays to dry in dehydrator (do not overlap meat). Dry at 145° for 8 or 10 hours. It will bend like a green willow without breaking. Refrigerate when done.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Beef.
