Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 4 Tbsp
  • soy sauce - 4 Tbsp
  • onion salt - 1/2 tsp
  • ketchup - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper or more if you like it hot - 1/4 tsp

How to make beef jerky:

This recipe is for 1 pound of venison or steak. Preferably I use steak. Marinate meat for 4 or 5 hours; drain in colander. Place on trays to dry in dehydrator (do not overlap meat). Dry at 145° for 8 or 10 hours. It will bend like a green willow without breaking. Refrigerate when done.
