Ingredients/Components

  • mushrooms, sliced
  • medium onions, diced - 2 item
  • lean stew beef, cubed - 5 lb

How to make beef burgundy:

Flour meat and brown in butter. Remove and put in baking dish. Saute sliced mushrooms and onion; add to meat. Cover with a mixture of 3 cups Burgundy and 2 cups beef bouillon (cubes). Stir, cover and bake at 300° for 2 to 3 hours.

Next day, remove fat and reheat slowly. Serve over buttered noodles.
