- flour - 4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- water - 1 c
- onions, chopped - 1 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- Filling: mashed potatoes
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
How to make pierogies:
Filling: mashed potatoes shredded Cheddar cheese salt and pepper Mix flour and salt in a large bowl. Add eggs and enough water to make medium soft dough. Knead on floured board. Roll thin. Cut into 2-inch squares. Place 1 teaspoon of filling and press edges together to seal. Drop into boiling water (salted) and boil until they come to the top. Boil about 7 minutes longer.
