Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 qt
- potatoes - 1 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- celery, diced - 2 c
- ham bone - 1 item
- navy beans - 2 c
- ripe tomatoes or 1 can - 4 item
How to make bean soup:
Soak beans overnight and drain in a.m. Pour beans in saucepan. Add ham bone and water. Cook slowly until beans are soft. Add vegetables and cook until done. Put through sieve.
