How to make barbecued spareribs:
Cut spareribs into serving pieces. Dip ribs in flour and brown on all sides in 1 tablespoon fat or drippings. Then remove excess fat, leaving 1/4 cup. To this add all ingredients. Cover; simmer at 220° for about 1 1/2 hours, turning once or twice.I usually mix a pound of hamburger into small meat balls and brown with ribs and put in the sauce over them along with ribs. Real good.
