Barbecued spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/3 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- catsup - 1 c
- lemon - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- ribs - 3 4
- dashes Tabasco sauce - 2 item
How to make barbecued spareribs:
Put ribs in cake pan, meaty side up. On each piece place a slice of onion and a bit of lemon juice. Roast in hot oven at 450° for 30 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and pour over ribs. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes. Baste sauce every 15 minutes. Add more water if sauce gets too thick.Best results: Cook ribs in boiling water for about 20 minutes before putting in pan.
