Cherry cheesecake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- pkg - 3 oz
- sour cream - 1 pt
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- stick melted butter - 1 item
- crushed vanilla wafers
- can cherry pie mix - 1 item
How to make cherry cheesecake:
Combine first 3 ingredients and press into spring-form pan. In mixer, cream the cream cheese and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, and the vanilla. Spoon into crust and bake 25 minutes at 375°. Take out immediately. Beat together sour cream and lemon juice. Spread this on top of cheesecake and bake 5 minutes at 500°. Take out immediately. Chill overnight.
