- brown sugar
- cloves - 16 item
- dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp
- ketchup - 2 c
- garlic - 1 item
- large onion - 1 item
- pot roast - 6 lb
How to make barbecued beef:
Sauce:1/4 c. brown sugar1 Tbsp. dry mustard2 c. ketchup1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Cook roast in water with onion, cloves and garlic for 6 to 7 hours. Refrigerate overnight in water. Next a.m. clean meat off bones. Make sauce, mixing well. Add to meat. Put in 9 x 13-inch baking dish. When ready to serve, bake at 325° covered for 40 minutes. Remove cover; bake 5 minutes longer.
