Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- mustard - 1 Tbsp
- ketchup - 1/4 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- dash of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
- large clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- can beef broth - 1 item
- large onions, quartered - 2 item
- bell pepper, cut in 1-inch squares - 1 item
- stew meat, cut in 1-inch squares
How to make barbecue beef:
In skillet, brown beef in shortening. Pour off fat. Add soup, 1/4 cup water, ketchup, mustard, garlic, Tabasco sauce and seasonings. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Add onions; cook 40 minutes more. Add green pepper; cook 20 minutes longer or until tenRecipe categories: Meat, Beef, High protein.
