Barbecue beef
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- Dijon-style mustard - 2 Tbsp
- cup red wine vinegar - 1/4 item
- cup packed brown sugar - 1/4 item
- boneless chuck roast - 3 lbs
- 1/2 cups ketchup - 1 item
- liquid smoke flavoring - 1 tsp
How to make barbecue beef:
Place chuck roast in slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl. Pour barbecue sauce mixture over chuck roast. Cover and cook on low eight to ten hours or on high for four or five hours. Remove chuck roast from slow cooker and shred meat. Place shredded meat back in slow cooker. Stir meat to evenly coat with sauce. Spoon meat into sandwich buns and top with additional barbecue sauce if desired.Serves 12.
