Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- shortening - 1 item
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- paprika - 2 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- ketchup - 1 c
- chuck roast - 3 lb
How to make barbecue beef:
Brown meat in shortening. Mix rest of ingredients and pour over meat. Bake at 350° for 3 hours, or until tender. Remove meat from pan and, using two forks, shred meat. Return to sauce and serve on buns. This can also be made in a slow cooker.Recipe categories: Meat, Beef, High protein.
