Oven barbecued meatballs


Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1/3 c
- salt
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- water
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- Crisco - 1/3 c
- paprika - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- ketchup - 3/4 c
- ground beef
- soft bread crumbs, 2 slices - 1 c
How to make oven barbecued meatballs:
Sauce:3/4 c. water3/4 c. ketchup1/4 c. chopped onion3 Tbsp. vinegar1 Tbsp. sugar1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Preheat oven to 350°. In a bowl, combine egg, milk, bread crumbs, 1/2 cup onion, salt, 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Add beef and mix well. Shape mixture into 18 balls. Combine flour and paprika. Roll meatballs in flour mixture. In a large skillet, brown meatballs in hot Crisco. Transfer to a 2 quart casserole. In a separate pan, combine sauce ingredients. Bring to boiling and pour over meatballs. Cover and bake 45 minutes. Serve over hot, cooked noodles.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, Beef.
