- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- salad oil
- vanilla
- crushed pineapple, undrained - 1 (8
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- bananas, chopped not mashed - 2 c
- Add eggs and oil; stir until moistened
- box 4x sugar - 1 item
- margarine, softened - 1 c
How to make banana-pineapple cake:
Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Add eggs and oil; stir until moistened. Do not beat! Stir in vanilla, pineapple, nuts and chopped bananas.Spoon into greased 13 x 9-inch or 3 (9-inch) cake pans. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until done.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened1 box 4x sugar1 c. margarine, softened Beat until fluffy; spread on cooled cake.
