  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • oil
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • chopped walnuts - 1 c
  • can crushed pineapple including juice - 1 oz
  • mashed bananas about 3 medium - 2 c

How to make banana-pineapple cake:

Stir dry ingredients together. Beat eggs, oil, vanilla, pineapple and bananas. Add to flour mixture and mix well by hand. Stir in walnuts. Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube or Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Cool on rack for 15 minutes before removing from pan, then cool completely on wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost with cream cheese icing.
