Banana-pineapple cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- cooking oil
- can crushed pineapple with juice - 1 oz
- sliced bananas - 2 c
How to make banana-pineapple cake:
Sift first 4 ingredients. Add remaining ingredients. Stir together. Do not beat. Pour into a greased 9-inch tube pan and bake about 1 hour and 20 minutes at 350°. Cool completely before removing from pan. (It is important that cake is real cool or it will stick to bottom of pan.)You may frost with cream cheese frosting or just sprinkle powdered sugar on top. (This cake freezes beautifully.)
