Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- onion - 1/2 c
- yellow squash - 3 lb
- cracker meal crumbs - 1/2 c
How to make baked squash:
Wash and cut up squash. Boil, drain and mash. Add all ingredients to squash except 1/2 cup butter. Pour into baking dish. Spread with melted butter-sprinkled crumbs. Bake 1 hour at 375°. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Vegetables.
