Baked caramel corn



  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • popped corn - 6 qt
  • dark corn syrup - 1/2 c

How to make baked caramel corn:

Bring butter, sugar, syrup, salt, baking powder and vanilla to boil, stirring constantly. Then boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Pour over popcorn and mix well. Turn into baking pan and put in 250° oven for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes while baking. Break apart and store in tins.
