Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- popped corn - 6 qt
- dark corn syrup - 1/2 c
How to make baked caramel corn:
Bring butter, sugar, syrup, salt, baking powder and vanilla to boil, stirring constantly. Then boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Pour over popcorn and mix well. Turn into baking pan and put in 250° oven for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes while baking. Break apart and store in tins.Recipe categories: Desserts, Lunch/snacks, Snacks.
