Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 lb
- butter - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- popped corn - 6 qt
- dark corn syrup - 1/2 c
How to make caramel corn:
Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in brown sugar, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in soda and vanilla. Pour over corn and put in oven. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
