Grandma's chocolate chip cookies

- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 3/4 c
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- unsifted flour
- brown sugar, packed - 3/4 c
- chopped nuts peanuts, walnuts or pecans - 1 c
How to make grandma's chocolate chip cookies:
Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugars and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs; gradually add sifted dry ingredients. Mix well; stir in chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375° oven for 8 minutes or until lightly brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
