Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • egg yolks - 5 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped walnuts - 1 c

How to make maple walnut cake:

Cream butter; add sugar and mix well. Add well beaten egg yolks, then milk and flour which has been sifted with salt and baking powder, alternately. Then add vanilla and walnuts and bake for 1 hour in moderate oven.
