- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 item
- flour - 1/3 c
- pepper - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- medium potatoes, pared and sliced thin - 8 item
How to make au gratin potatoes:
Place half the potatoes in a greased 2-quart casserole. Add half the onion and half the flour. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Put in half the cheese. Repeat layers. Pour milk over all. If desired, sprinkle with 3 tablespoons buttered bread crumbs. CRecipe categories: < 4 hours, Time to make, Oven.
