Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • hot milk
  • medium onion - 1/2 item
  • Swiss cheese, cubed - 3/4 c
  • medium potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly - 4 item

How to make au gratin potatoes:

Put milk, onion, cheese, flour and margarine in blender. Cover and process or grind until smooth. Layer half of potatoes in 2-quart casserole dish. Pour half of milk mixture over potatoes. Add remaining potatoes. Pour remaining milk mixture over top.
