Arroz con pollo
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 6 Tbsp
- boiling water - 2 c
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 oz
- chicken Rice-A-Roni - 1 pkg
- cut-up chicken - 1 item
How to make arroz con pollo:
Brown one cut-up frying chicken or chicken pieces in 4 tablespoons butter; set aside. Brown 1 package chicken Rice-A-Roni in 2 tablespoons butter. Remove to 3-quart casserole. Stir in 2 cups boiling water, contents of chicken flavor packet, stewed tomatoes and salt. Arrange browned chicken on top. Cover and bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes. Uncover the last 10 minutes.
