  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • water - 1/3 c
  • Crisco
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • Sauce:1 stick butter
  • apples, halved - 6 item

How to make apple dumplings:

Dough:3 c. flour1 egg, beaten1 1/4 c. Crisco1 tsp. salt1/3 c. water Sauce:1 stick butter1 c. brown sugar1 c. water Dough: Mix dough. Roll out like pie dough. Cut in squares. Wrap apples; set in pan.

Sauce: Pour sauce over apples. Bake.
