Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon
- granulated sugar - 2 Tbsp
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1/2-1 c
- freshly grated nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- plus 3 Tbsp - 1/2-1 c
- lightly packed brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- Topping:3/4 c
- butter cut into small pieces & slightly softened - 12 Tbsp
How to make apple crisp:
Slice apples and add above ingredients let set for 20 minutes.Topping:3/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour1/2-1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. old fashioned oatmeal1/2-1/4 c. plus 3 Tbsp. sugar1/4 c. plus 3 Tbsp. brown sugar; lightly packed12 Tbsp. butter cut into small pieces & slightly softened Mix 2 Tbsp. of melted butter into apple mixture. Put apple mixture including juice into cake pan. Add topping and bake at 375° for 30-40 minutes or until top is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
