  • sour cream - 1 c
  • butter or margarine - 4 oz
  • flour - 2 c
  • almond extract - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • cream cheese at room temperature - 12 oz
  • Press into Phoenixware spring-form pan
  • Mix sugar, lemon juice and almond extract, adding to cheese mixture

How to make almond cheesecake:

Add ingredients in order, blending together to make a soft dough. Press into Phoenixware spring-form pan.Filling:2 eggs12 oz. cream cheese (at room temperature)3/4 c. sugar1 tsp. lemon juice1 tsp. almond extract Beat eggs, blending in cream cheese. Mix sugar, lemon juice and almond extract, adding to cheese mixture. Beat until creamy. Pour into prepared crust; bake for 30 minutes at 350°. Cool 5 minutes.Sour Cream Topping:3 Tbsp. sugar1 tsp. lemon juice1 tsp. almond extract1 c. sour cream Mix ingredients and spread on baked cheesecake. Bake for 10 minutes at 350°. Sprinkle with almonds.
