Banana nut bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour
- soda - 2 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- mashed bananas - 2 c
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
How to make banana nut bread:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add vanilla and lemon juice. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add bananas. Sift flour, soda and baking powder together. Add alternately with sour cream to banana mixture. Fold in nuts. Pour in 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Yeast breads.
