Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/4 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 item
- tomato sauce - 1 c
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 c
- mushrooms - 1 c
- zucchini unpeeled - 2 item
How to make zesty zucchini:
Slice zucchini 1/4-inch thick. In skillet, saute butter and onion; add zucchini, salt, mushrooms and water. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add tomato sauce; cover and simmer for 5 more minutes. Sprinkle cheese over top and simmer 5 more minutes.Recipe categories: Squash, Side dish, Vegetables.
