Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- plain flour - 4 c
- active dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make yeast rolls:
Boil 1 cup water; add 1/2 cup shortening and set aside 30 minutes. Sprinkle yeast over 1/4 cup lukewarm water; let stand 30 minutes. Mix flour, sugar and salt and make a well in middle.
