Yeast pancakes
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- water - 2/3 c
- egg at room temperature - 1 item
- yeast RapidRise - 1 pkg
- Bisquick regular or lite - 2 c
How to make yeast pancakes:
Heat water and milk to almost boiling in large bowl. (I do this in the microwave.) Sprinkle yeast on top of hot liquid. Let sit 5 minutes; stir gently. Add egg (I run hot water on it to warm it up). Beat. Add Bisquick; beat well. Let bowl sit for 30 minutes in a warm place. Mixture will look lumpy and bubbly.
