Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- buttermilk
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 3/4 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- warm water - 1/4 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make yeast pancakes:
Sift dry ingredients together; mix well. Soften yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Mix buttermilk, eggs and oil; add dry ingredients until well blended. Add yeast. Let rise. Will keep for 3 or 4 days in refrigerator. Makes great crepes which can be frozen. Make any vegetable or meat filler for crepes.
