Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- water - 3/4 c
- lemon juice - 1/2 c
- ground ginger - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- chicken wings - 3 lb
How to make wing dings:
Singe wings if needed. Cut off tips and discard. Divide each wing in half. Place in single layer or rack in broiler. Bake 30 minutes at 400°. Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, ginger, pepper, water, lemon juice and soy sauce in small saucepan. Stir constantly until mixture boils; boil 3 minutes. Brush over chicken. Cook chicken 40 minutes more and continue turning and basting with remaining mixture.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Chicken wing.
