Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chicken broth - 4 c
- sliced celery - 1/2 c
- wild rice - 1 c
- mushrooms, cut in half - 1 c
How to make wild rice casserole:
Cook and stir wild rice, celery and onion in butter until onion is tender. Pour into ungreased casserole. Heat broth to boiling. Pour over rice and add mushrooms and salt to taste. Cover and bake in 350° oven for 45 to 60 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Rice.
