Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- oil - 1 c
- hot water - 4 c
- yeast - 3 Tbsp
How to make whole wheat bread:
Mix all together (except yeast) and add 5 cups whole wheat flour. Then add yeast. Let rise for 20 minutes, then add 4 cups white flour. If more is needed add from cup number 5. Bake for 20 minutes at 400°. Makes 4 big loaves or 5 small ones.Recipe categories: Breads, Low cholesterol, Yeast breads.
