- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour
- egg yolks - 4 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- margarine - 1 c
- pecans - 1 c
- white sugar - 2 c
- Angel Flake coconut - 1 c
- egg whites, whipped - 4 item
- white chocolate, melted over hot water - 1/4 lb
How to make white chocolate cake:
Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Cream butter; add sugar and vanilla. Add egg yolks and melted chocolate. Alternate the flour, buttermilk, nuts and coconut. Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake in three 9-inch pans or oblong pan at 350° for about 45 minutes or until done. Ice with Cream Cheese Frosting.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, American.
